Jesus laments over the great city of Jerusalem as he faces resistance to the healing power of God’s love at work in the lives of real people. That resistance is both historical and timeless. It is at work today in the world and in our hearts. It is the world in which we live, work, serve, and play. It may seems as if God has left the building. Yet, Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.

New masking policy effective Mar. 13. In accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Governor’s decision to lift the indoor masking mandate on Mar. 12, session has determined that masking will no longer be required in worship or other church functions while Washington County meets the CDC’s thresholds for *”Low Community Level.” Anyone is welcome to wear a mask at their discretion and those unvaccinated or vulnerable to infection are encouraged to do so for their own safety and the well being of the community.
