The ancient Hebrews believed in the one true God. Imagine if you were one of them, and you needed to explain to your neighbor how that one God has now revealed Godself to you in three persons! We cannot understand, even all of these years later. That does not give us permission not to do our best to live the many ways in which our God is good and gracious and loving. Trinity Sunday is the one Sunday in the church year when we are given the opportunity to focus on the many ways in which our God acts in our lives day by day, and to ask ourselves: do those we encounter benefit from our relationship with God?
The Rev. Patricia Berger, Parish Associate, is preaching this Sunday. Pastor Jeff Sievert will serve as liturgist.
