Faith is often billed as a set of correct beliefs. But it’s more about relationship and a way of life. To have the same mind as Jesus is to see, feel, value, think, and act as Jesus. Jesus’ self-emptying becomes ours. Jesus’ boundless love and grace is what we know and share. Jesus’ identification with poverty and suffering informs our attitudes and actions.

We continue Communion on this Palm/Passion Sunday, and throughout the season ahead. Also remember our offering of coats – gently used and clean or new – in keeping with Luke’s account of people laying cloaks on the road as Jesus entered Jerusalem.
New masking policy effective Mar. 13. In accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Governor’s decision to lift the indoor masking mandate on Mar. 12, session has determined that masking will no longer be required in worship or other church functions while Washington County meets the CDC’s thresholds for *”Low Community Level.” Anyone is welcome to wear a mask at their discretion and those unvaccinated or vulnerable to infection are encouraged to do so for their own safety and the well being of the community.
