A friend recently explained that while it’s okay to simply close your laptop, it’s good to shut down and re-boot periodically. That’s the way it is with faith, too. We get accustomed to what’s always been the case, good and bad, and it can get stale and calcified. Sometimes we need a re-boot. Here on the 501st Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation we’re still learning to be open and flexible, available for re-reformation in order to be attentive to what God is doing here and now.
Hope to see you in worship at the Reedville Church. This Sunday enjoy a Reformation Sundae after worship, about 11:00, to celebrate Reformation Sunday. It’s free!
