Remediation for lower level flooding at church is making progress. Session has approved the recommendation presented at a special session meeting last Sunday. We will (1) Schedule one additional professional deep cleaning in affected rooms and hallway, including objects and furnishings, (2) Repair molding as needed to restore to previous condition, (3) Remove and replace vinyl flooring in bathrooms, (4) Secure estimates for vinyl flooring and authorize expense of up to $3,500, and (5) Authorize expenditure of the Insurance Board deductible of $2,500, if needed.
In the meantime Mark and Dave have deemed it safe to resume use of the lower level by members, building guests, and community partners.
