Christmas Giving Tree: We’re gathering gifts for a Reedville Elementary School family and the teenaged children of Western Farm Workers Association (WFWA). Our Giving Tree has gone virtual and you’ll be signing out virtual tags using Sign-Up Genius. Here are details:
- Sign-Up Genius will be ready on Sunday, November 15. There will be 2 lists, one for the Reedville Elementary family and the other for WFWA teens.
- You should get your gifts to the church by Friday, December 4. Return process will be to drop gifts at the church during office hours if you can or call Lori (503-523-8306) or email Lori to schedule a pick-up if you can’t get the gift to church yourself.
- Cash donations are fine if shopping doesn’t work for you! Please sign up for a tag and put “Cash donation” and the amount donated in the note section in Sign-Up Genius. Then send your donation to the church with “Giving Tree” in the memo.
- The Reedville School family is a mom with 5 kids ages 3 to 15. Please return the clothing and toy gifts wrapped. Household supplies don’t need wrapping. There will also be tags for cash for groceries (follow same procedure for cash donations above, though the amount does not need to be listed since it will be on your tag).
- We have 19 WFWA teens. Gift cards for them are still OK. Gifts should be returned unwrapped.
- Sign-Up Genius instructions will remind you of the whole return process (date, how to return, wrap/don’t wrap, and how to ID your gift) that you’ll be able to retain.
- If you are not a Sign-Up Genius user we still want you to participate, just call or email Lori and she’ll get you set up with tags.
